IT Standards

Xtensible leverages a number of IT standards to enable the MD3i implementation:

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used for: Business process modeling and requirements management, Semantic information modeling, and Context based implementation modeling;

Web Services Description Language (WSDL) and XML Schema (XSD) is used for designing integration services and payloads.

WS-I is used for Web Services interoperability conformance and testing.

Data Description Language (DDL) is used to describe relational data model.

XML Metadata Interchange (XMI) is used for metadata exchange adn integration.
